Well, that’s kind of interesting, now Google is denying there is such a flaw, and instead says this attack was a phishing scam…

So, were these only rumors… or not?

Regardless, it reminded us that online security is at risk everyday and we just need to be more careful. Some tips mentioned in a previous post are still valid. Watch out for XSS attacks… although Tab browsing is neat, it may not be such a good idea to be logged in your email account while doing other things…

Also, enable HTTPS encryption in your Gmail account. That will make your communications more secure. -)
