Hotmail Email Address Search – a Must Have!

If you know the email address of a person, finding out his name can be fairly easy. However, if it was the other way around, and you have the person’s name and you want to know his email address, the task can be slightly more difficult. This is especially true if the email address is hosted by a free email provider domain. Nonetheless, if the email address happens to be hosted by MSN, it will be a completely different story. As a matter of fact, MSN has a Hotmail directory that you can use to find the email address of any member making it very easy to conduct a hotmail email address search.

First, launch your internet browser and go to the official website of MSN and log in if you are already a member. If not, locate the link for signing up and click on it. Registration with MSN is free. Once you get transferred to the signup area, provide the necessary information being asked for, agree to the terms and conditions, and click on the button labeled “Submit”.

Now that you have an account with MSN, go to the MSN website once more and log in. Find the link that leads to the Members directory and click on it. At the topmost corner of the right-hand side of your homepage, you should see a search form. Written in the text field by default is the statement “Search people or web”. Click on that search text field and a drop-down menu will appear. Click “Search people” from this menu and wait to get transferred to the Search Members page.

Once you are redirected, you should see an empty text field for searching members by email address or by name. Type the first and last name of the person you are trying to track down and click Search. If you know additional information, you can narrow your hotmail email address search by clicking on the tab labeled “Advanced Search” and providing the other details about the person.

You would probably get multiple search results so you might need to do some reviewing before you find the person you are looking for. The search results displayed will contain the member’s name, location, and picture (this is optional). These extra details will help you spot the person you are looking for more easily.

If you have found the person you are trying to track down or at least you think you do, click the “Add as Friend” link next to his name. Doing so will generate a new window with an empty text area where you can write a message for the person. You may choose to leave it blank if you want, or use it to ask a question so you can verify if the person is indeed the one you are trying to find. When you have finished writing your message, click on “Send Invitation”.

Wait until the person accepts your invitation. You will be given permission to view his full profile only if you are one of his “friends”. Once he accepts your invitation, you can either proceed to the Members page and find his profile by his last name, or go to your personal page and find him in your list of friends. When you find him, click on his name or photo thumbnail to see his profile. Hotmail automatically displays the Hotmail addresses of members in their viewing profiles. Therefore, once you are redirected to this page, you will find what you need.
